Study, design, and installation of a high-mounted high-speed door.
Client Objective
The initial goal of our client was to streamline the loading and unloading of materials using lifting equipment. This specific need required a custom installation adapted to the client’s environment and operational constraints.
High-Speed Door Installed 3 Meters Above Ground
First, Ba2i’s design office conducted a feasibility study for the project, given the technical complexity of the request. Following our recommendations, the client had a reinforced threshold built to support the door’s weight of over 350 kg. This special threshold features lateral reinforcements to secure the anti-fall points using brackets mounted on the door uprights.
After validation of our study and recommendations, we proceeded with:
- La fabrication sur mesure des portes composées d’un rideau semi-modulaire, lui même constitué de lés de 400 mm. Cette conception offre une très bonne résistance au vent. La maintenabilité du système BA2i est simplifiée et est plus économique. En effet, la technologie des lés modulaires de Ba2i permet de remplacer exclusivement le lé abîmé. Les portes autoportantes facilitent les installations sur mesure, car elles limitent l’effort de portée sur la surface d’appui ;

- Installation of two automatic flexible doors outdoors, including one installed 3 meters above ground level.
